The right mattress.

Patients frequently ask me in the office, "What's the best mattress?" The simple answer is that there is no right mattress for everyone. Your needs are different than even your spouses. My best advice is to usually buy a firm mattress without a pillow top and purchase a separate top that can be replaced when it wears out. The other important piece of advice is to take your pillow with you to the mattress store and spend a little quality time on each prospective mattress. A few minutes isn't really enough time to make an important decision that you will most likely live with for the next 10 years! Take at least a ten minute period to check out each mattress.

You don't necessarily have to buy the most expensive mattress to get the right one for you. Shop around and you may just get a deal.
